So what is the GBG ORAC Score you wonder? Find out what the ORAC Score of GBG is, how it compares to other similar products, and if the ORAC Score really matters.

Based on information released by the GBG Company, the ORAC Score of 10-in-1 is:

–or–

Compared to many other liquid supplements, GBG 10-in-1 does have a signficantly higher ORAC value. Based on my research, there is only one other liquid vitamin supplement that ranks higher in ORAC Score than GBG 10-in-1.

Compare GBG 10 in One to:

What sets GBG 10-in-1 apart from all of the competition is the fact that it’s not just a liquid supplement; It’s a liquid vitamin.

It is believed by the medical community that a higher ORAC score translates into higher antioxidant fighting power. Two scientists, Prior and Cao, who have been studying ORAC for a few years, have evidence that not only are food antioxidants absorbed but they also boost the antioxidant power of the blood.

Yet, studies are still being conducted as to whether or not the ORAC value of one particular food matters or the ORAC value of several nutrients, or foods, combined. However scientists Prior and Cao do suggest a daily intake of ORAC to be between 3,000 – 5,000 units per day to possibly notice a worthwhile difference in tissue and plasma antioxidant capacity.

I don’t know if the ORAC Score really matters. All I know is, GBG 10-in-One is not only a combination of multiple nutrients, but it also has half of the recommended ORAC suggested by Prior and Cao, at 2,500 untis. By taking an interest in the ORAC Score of GBG and learning that it supplements not only my lack of nutrient intake but also my lack of ORAC intake… Well, to me it’s worth the investment and knowing I’m making a decision to at least attempt to prevent an unhealthy future.
